my story.

My story consists mostly of God leading me to things that He began preparing for me years ago, before I even knew that I would end up considering such a path.  But when it’s all been said and done, it make so much sense, and God gets all the glory.  My life has been a lesson in Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  My understanding is not always God’s understanding, but if I can honor and trust Him in the midst of a seemingly twisted and crooked journey, He will make the path straight.  God has taught me to walk by faith.  May my story be an encouragement to you.

If you are floundering and you wonder if you will EVER figure out what you want to do with your life, be encouraged.

If you are feeling confused and hopeless, be encouraged.

Because the God of the universe, the God who loves and forgives you, the God who holds your life in His hands and is absolutely obsessed with pursuing a relationship with you, the God who brings hope to the hopeless and healing to the broken, He wants you to know that He is God.

So maybe you can relate to my story.  Maybe you can’t.  But I hope that you are encouraged.  Because God is big.  And God is good.  He goes beyond my ability to comprehend, and yet walks with me so that I can understand.

And I hope that you can experience that too.

Check out the links over on the right under “my story”.  There’s “back then” and “here and now.”  I hope they can be an encouragment to you.

  1. The Lord has had me on the road (hitchhiking) for most of 15 years. I believe He is leading me to some destination. It would be great to settle down someday. We live by faith, not by sight.
