  1. I love Santa Barbara! We drive up there from LA maybe once a year. It’s a relaxing way to get away from the City.

  7. I was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I live in Atlanta now with my family. I miss Santa Barabara, and these pictures of yours, remind me of this. If you want to visit a great Santa Baraba hidden jem, you must visit the Frog Wall. You can find it here: 1627 Paterno Lane, Santa Barbara, CA. Its off of APS on the Riviera. Just remember, if you take a frog, you must leave a frog. Thats the rule:-) Thank you for the cool blog post!

  8. Oh, how absolutely gorgeous. I lived in Santa Barbara for five years, and my husband and I were married in the courthouse’s Sunken Gardens last year! Your photos really tugged at my heartstrings. I hope you love your new location as much as I loved it, if not more. :)

That bench in Elings Park is one of my all time favorite places in the whole world! I grew up in SB and still quasi-call it home, but your pictures remind me how lucky I am to call it home!

If you haven’t been already, I suggest going to butterfly beach (my favorite!). Thanks for the post and tell Barbara I miss her already!

I especially enjoy your walk in faith as I too wait for God’s daily direction in my life…Sometimes it’s about pausing for just a moment to take in his wonderful creation and through the beauty he speaks to each of us. Enjoy being a new mom…it’s the best job in this world!

Congratulations on being Freshly Pressed and on the impending arrival of your little Leo (from one who is a Leo and is married to a Leo 364 days older).

  65. hello!
i was caught initially by the images of SB…my mom used to live there and so the images felt a bit like home.

then i noticed your name is “Christie”–just like me and even spelled the same! and finally, was hooked by your story and desire to live into the calling of Christ and his Kingdom.

all that said, i think we should be blog friends, so i’ve subscribed and look forward to hearing more about your journey.

    peace,
